Alegria Women's Sedona Boots

Very Comfortable molds to your foot4

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and am always weary of buying new shoes. I was attracted to this brand because of it's look and the fact that I could use my own custom orthotic in it. The cost was prohibitive at the retail store but found them online at a price I could handle. I have no regrets and can't wait to buy another style. I have had absolutely no pain wearing these boots. I love how the footbed molds to your feet. I feel like my heel is resting comfortably and I have sufficient arch support. A couple of things I've noticed: 1) the heel cup is a bit narrow at first causing my socks to get pulled down into my arch. This has resolved in my left boot but not yet in my right. I think that with further use more stretching out this will no longer be an issue. 2) I seem to step harder. I feel like I'm taking Frankenstein type steps. Maybe because of the flat sole of the shoe. Not sure. My ONLY complaint though is that the shearling does not line the top of the insole. The insole is all leather the rest of the boot has a shearling lining. I would LOVE to feel that on the bottoms of my feet. That would have given it 5 stars. I bought a sheepskin replacement insole from another brand but once placed on top the Alegria insole it makes the boot too tight. I used a waterproofing spray to help with dirt and rain drops. Love this shoe. I'm so confident in their comfort I'm going to wear them to Disneyland this weekend. More detail ...
